Are you unsure if your little one will enjoy a Cincinnati summer camp at Wake Nation? Or is this your first Cincinnati summer camp with us? Once your young shredder is a Wake Nation summer camp graduate, if you want to drop in on any future summer camp, you can do so for only $89/day. It’s best to let us know a day ahead of time so we can plan ahead for summer camp food.

Reserve a Spot & Pay Later
Would you like to reserve a spot and pay later? See Deposit / Down Payment for a Camp on the Shop page to place a $150 non-refundable deposit. This will guarantee your reservation, and you can pay the balance no later than the first day of camp. ($499 – $150 deposit = $349 balance to pay later). If you make a deposit during a promotion, you will automatically receive the discounted promotional price.
All summer camp purchases and deposits are non-refundable, however, we do allow changes in days/weeks as space allows.
- The session I wanted sold out. What are my options?
All summer camps sell out. If you couldn’t get a spot this year, let us know your interests and we’ll try to steer you in the right direction. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to get the jump start on next year. Links are at the bottom of any page of this website. - My camper doesn’t have any board experience (snow, wake, skate, surf, etc.). Can they still have fun at camp?
Absolutely! If your kiddo hasn’t ridden a kneeboard, wakeboard, or cable system previously, don’t let that scare you off. It’s the absolute best way to learn for first-timers, and it’s a quick learning curve for experienced wakeboarders. There is no better or safer way to learn how to kneeboard or wakeboard. Make sure you take advantage of our one time, FREE pre camp lesson.If your young shredder has a lesson prior to camp, we guarantee they will be excited about camp. (We’ve had a 100% success rate with all pre-camp lessons.) Once you register for a camp, we’ll get that one time lesson on the calendar. - Is food included with camp?
Yes. Morning snacks, lunch, afternoon snacks, and plenty of hydration are always included. - What do I need to bring?
Bring a swimsuit, any special food or snacks, sunblock, and a towel. We provide everything else. - Is there a discount for attending multiple camps?
Yes. If any camper wishes to attend more than one summer camp, check out the Youth Season Pass on our Ohio Cable Park page. In addition to unlimited riding throughout the season and several other pass benefits, the Youth Season Pass automatically gets you the best discount on all summer camps and day drop-ins. - What are the drop off and pick up times?
Normal drop off time is by 9:30am and normal pick up time is 4:00pm but hey, we get it, you’re busy. If you have a special situation or need a different drop off and/or pick up time, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. - Can I stay and watch camp?
Yes. If you (the parent, grandparent, nanny, etc.) want to hang out during camp, our facility has indoor and outdoor quiet spaces to work, surf social media, or simply enjoy a cold beverage and take in the action. (Day 3 and beyond are the most exciting to watch.) We just ask that you stay in the background and let our staff do their kiddo and teaching thing. - What if it rains?
In the event of poor weather, we have plenty of activities to keep things fun and entertaining. None of our activities or operations are affected by light rain – only high winds and the sparky stuff in the sky. - Is this a wakeboard camp?
Not exclusively. We teach kneeboarding and wakeboarding skills as part of camp but if your interests are more “wakeboard-only focused”, consider our Wakeboard Camp, or a wakeboard lesson. - Is there anything else I need to know now?
When you make a purchase or place a deposit, we will follow up to confirm camper details. Later, approximately one (1) week prior to camp, we will send additional camp details, and let you know about potential carpooling options with others in your area.
Wake Club is where young riders progress, make friends, and spend their Thursdays on the water with other young wakeboarders. Designed for beginners and returning riders alike, it’s the most fun, low‑pressure way for kids to build confidence and improve their skills, while creating a new group of friends and community.

Family Wakeboard Camp

Our family wakeboard camp on the cable is most likely the first wakeboard camp of it’s kind. It’s certainly the first wakeboard camp that allows mom to participate for free*. We couldn’t think of a better or less stressful way for the whole family or extended family to spend a weekend or holiday at the lake, relaxing, learning from the best wakeboard instructors, and spending time together doing something they enjoy. And the boat driver can also enjoy a weekend off!
*Mom (or a 2nd parent) is free when attending with at least one other paying family member. We think free is a pretty good price.
The family wakeboard camp has all of the same great instruction and fun you’ve come to know from our other wakeboard camps and lessons. And when the sun goes down, we have plenty of marshmallows to go around the fire. Wakeboard camp doesn’t officially start until morning, but if you would like to bring a tent or the RV and stay the night before, we’ll make it happen. If your bucket list includes mom learning how to ride switch or dad getting to ride doubles with another family member, or wakeboarding in perfect conditions on a holiday weekend, this is the best opportunity to have one of the most memorable family weekends of the entire summer.
Camp does not include food or beverages. However, we have plenty of snacks, food, and beverages (adult beverages too) onsite.

Adult Camp

Why do the kids get to have all the fun? Wakeboard camp is certainly not just for kids so come spend a weekend with us! Learn, have fun, hang with the Wake Nation crew, and get your ride on! Our adult wakeboard camps were created specifically for those of us that have a normal job and need to work Monday – Friday. Hosted at our cable park over a weekend, and with a maximum of 8 students, you’ll be able to ride as much as you can handle in two days. In between sets we have several games and water toys that even the adults will have fun on – the new Launch Slide is a total blast! When the sun goes down, we have a fire pit and occasional night riding opportunities you can’t get anywhere else!
If you haven’t ridden a cable before, don’t let that scare you off. It’s the absolute best way to learn for first-time wakeboarders, and it’s a fast learning curve for experienced riders. There is no better or safer way to learn a few of those wakeboard tricks you have probably been thinking about. Add the trampoline and some great instructors, and you’ll be acting like you’re 16 again in no time.
Wakeboard camp doesn’t officially start until the morning, but if you would like to bring a tent or an RV and stay the night before, we’ll make it happen. For those of you that may want to attend wakeboard camp with your children/anyone under 21, please see our Family Wakeboard Summer Camp option.

Ultimate Wakeboard Camp

Are you ready for the ultimate wakeboarding training week of your life? Our ultimate wakeboard camp is exactly what it sounds like. With a maximum of 3 students for the entire week, this is the camp that can leapfrog your wakeboarding skills. It provides you with the perfect amount of rest in between riding sessions, yet maximizes every moment of wakeboarding you can muster into a week.
This Ultimate Wakeboard camp is tailored towards the student that has completed one of our Wakeboard Camps and/or has the basic fundamentals mastered, and really wants to focus on taking their wakeboard skills to that next level. With a combination of boat, cable, land, and video training (whatever is needed), this popular wakeboard camp will be the one week that you will remember that set you apart from the rider you used to be. This camp starts at jumping the wake and is instructed exclusively by our head coach, Steve Jones.
Whether you are prepping for your first contest, or just wanting to nail that first invert or spin, this is the absolute best wakeboard camp offered at our wakeboard school. The amount of riding and quality coaching time in this ultimate wakeboard camp is unmatched anywhere else.
